Hi everyone i have a desire for a pretty garage floor and im looking for some input regarding concrete epoxy coatings.

I am leaning towards dyi and purchasing my materials. Finally should i caulk the expansion grooves. I have been thinking about hiring a professional company to put an epoxy coating on our garage floor. An epoxy floor coating will adhere to your garage floor or any concrete floor for that matter way better than any conventional oil based water or enamel paint think epoxy glue type adhesion vs duct tape adhesion.

Acid etch or diamond grind. That being said i have done nearly 30 floors and i have only done 2 without grinding one of which was nearly brand new and the other was a basement floor in great condition with no sealer preasent. Anyone have this done. The amount of work that requires is way more than i want to put into my garage floor.
